With nearly 30 years experience, Lisa brings her passion, ethusiasm and expertise everywhere she goes. She infuses each and every interaction with her unrelenting voice for our nation’s most vulnerable citizens.
As an expert in providing advocacy, clinical consult and mentoring to individuals with special needs as well as their families and providers, the goal is the same.; to affect change and ensure equity in the process.
From prenatal diagnosis through the senior years, we are there for your every stage of life; whether it’s developing a birth plan to help welcome your new baby into the world or at more difficult times such as dealing with the aging of parent or primary caregiver.
Lisa started her career in Special Education as a paraprofessional for the NYC Board of Education and years later worked to become a Non-Profit Administrator and Program Director with a nationally acclaimed health system. In the latter role, she provided clinical and operational oversight to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and co-existing psychiatric disorders. In addition, through her consulting practice, she developed curriculums as a subject matter expert for numerous public and private entities. Lisa has trained over 5,000 professionals and is a frequently requested speaker at local and national conferences. In addition, she was an Adjunct Professor for SUNY for five years.
Lisa holds a Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University and a Masters Degree in Social Work Administration (minor in law) from Fordham University.
Throughout the years she has given back to communities and has been a highly respected Board Member for Family Focus Adoption Services, Joey's Wings Foundation and a volunteer Wish Grantor for Make-A-Wish Foundation.
When not working, you will find her chauffeuring her children to their extracurricular activities,, being a Girl Scout leader and enjoying time with friends and family.
